Our shop is tucked away in St. Anns Colony in Mapusa at house number 497. We make wine here under the name Vanessa Wine Manufacturers LLP. It is a small operation and we don't do anything too crazy. Most of the time we are just focused on the production side of things. Making wine involves a lot of waiting around for things to ferment properly and then we have to bottle it all up by hand. The colony is usually very quiet, which is nice when you are trying to get work done without distractions. We have been in this spot in Bardez for a long time now. It isn't a big factory or a commercial warehouse. It is more of a local, home-style setup. We spend our mornings checking on the different batches we have going. You can't really rush wine; it takes as long as it takes. We just follow the same steps we have always used. Sometimes people have a bit of trouble finding the shop number since the layout of the colony is a bit confusing to outsiders. We are at Shop No. EHN-IV(12). We don't spend money on advertising or marketing. People usually just find out about us by word of mouth or by seeing our small sign. We just keep our heads down and do the daily chores. North Goa is a decent place for this business, even if the humidity affects the process.
