Rissois Story Private Limited

Rissois Story Private Limited is a small business we run from House No- F-3 in the Chrisma Apartments. We are located in Taleigao, which is a nice residential neighborhood not far from the center of town. We specialize in making rissois, which are those little fried snacks everyone loves in Goa. It started out as something we did for friends and family, and it just grew into a private limited company over time. We don’t have a big factory. Most of the work is done by hand in our kitchen area. It is a lot of work to get the dough and the filling just right. We have a few local women who come in to help us with the folding because it takes a lot of time. Our office is just a small desk in the corner with a computer for doing the accounts. We sell our snacks to local cafes and some individual customers who know where we are. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that the food tastes good. Sometimes the apartment gets really hot when we are frying, but that is part of the job. Taleigao is a good place for us because we can get fresh ingredients from the local market easily. We just keep things simple and focus on the daily orders.
