Pinto Steels

We've been running Pinto Steels out of Shop No.13 in Lydia Gardens for a good while now. It's a busy spot in Santa Inez, right near the PWD Water Supply Department. Most people in Panjim know the area well. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic sometimes, but we like being here. The shop isn't fancy, just a regular place where we keep our stock and talk to people who come in looking for steel. My dad started things off and I just keep it going day by day. We open up early, usually before the sun gets too hot. It's just us here, making sure things get done. Some days are busier than others, especially when the trucks arrive. We don't have a big office or anything, just the shop floor and a small desk. People stop by on their way to the water department or just passing through the neighborhood. We know most of the regulars by name. It's a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes our way and try to keep things organized in the back. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful how we stack everything. It's honest work. If you're looking for us, look for the Lydia Gardens sign, we're right there. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just carry on. That’s how it is in this part of town. We just focus on what’s in front of us. Our neighbors are friendly enough. We just do our thing.
