We work as realtors, mostly focusing on the northern parts of Goa. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big storefront on a main road; we are tucked away in the colony. This works for us because it’s quiet and we can get our paperwork done without too many distractions. Being near the ground in Ganeshpuri makes it easy to give directions. We spend our days talking to property owners and people looking to move into the area. Real estate here is always moving, so there is plenty to do. We don't use glossy magazines or big billboards. We just know the streets and who is selling what. It’s a lot of walking around and talking to neighbors to find out what’s coming up for sale. We handle the basic stuff like showing properties and helping with the sale documents. It’s a straightforward business. We like the local feel of HB Colony. Most of us grew up around here or have lived in Goa for a long time. We don't put on airs. We just tell people what the price is and what the land looks like. It’s a simple way to run a business and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
