Our place is an old house in Nachinola, specifically House Number 843. It is known as Casa Affonso and sits in the Soddo area of Aldona. It is a very quiet village in North Goa, full of green trees and those old Portuguese-style houses. The business is Casa De Spirits Private Limited, and we use the rooms here to manage our distribution and keep an eye on our stock levels. The house has these thick walls that keep the inside cool even when the Goa heat is really strong outside. It doesn't look anything like a modern warehouse or a corporate office. It has a historical feel and maybe a bit of dust in the corners. We spend a lot of our time sitting on the porch talking to local suppliers or figuring out how to get deliveries to the nearby bars and shops. Sometimes the neighbor's chickens will wander into our yard while we are in the middle of a phone call. We don't have a formal dress code or any strict rules like that. Most days we are just moving boxes or checking through inventory lists on a clipboard. It is a slow-paced way to run a business, but it really fits the village life.
