If you look behind New Laxmi Marble, you will find our place. It is a bright yellow house, number 975 (B)1, so it is pretty hard to miss even if you aren't looking for it. We are mostly busy with fixing things here. People bring in their coffee machines when they stop working, and we take them apart on the big workbench in the back. Modlem Bhatt is a busy enough area, but our corner stays relatively calm. We have parts scattered around most of the time. Sometimes a repair takes longer because we are waiting for a specific valve or a seal to arrive in the mail. We do some sales too, but it’s the servicing that keeps us on our toes. It gets a bit greasy sometimes when we are working on the bigger industrial grinders. My hands are rarely clean by lunch. We aren't a big showroom with lights and carpets. It is more of a workshop feel where we drink a lot of coffee while trying to figure out why a pump is leaking. The neighbors at the marble shop usually wave when we are hauling boxes in. We just focus on getting the machines back to the owners so they can get their shops running again. It is honest work and the yellow paint on the walls makes it a cheerful spot.
