Tafajulalam

New Seelampur is one of those places in Delhi that never really sleeps. Our spot is at C131, and it’s right in the thick of it. Tafajulalam is the name we use, but most people just know us as the guys in the C-block. The 110053 area is loud, busy, and always moving. If you come to see us, you’ll have to navigate through a lot of rickshaws and people carrying bundles of goods. It’s not a place for someone who likes total silence. Inside C131, it’s a bit more manageable, but you can still hear the horns honking outside. We have a small desk and a few chairs for when someone drops by. There’s a calendar on the wall from a few years ago that we never took down. It’s just there. We don't try to look like a big corporate office because we aren't one. We are just local people doing our work in a neighborhood we know well. The light in the office is a bit dim, but we have a strong tube light over the main workspace. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day, mostly from the stall at the corner. The paperwork gets piled up sometimes, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical setup. We don't need anything more than this to get the job done. Delhi is a tough city, but being here in Seelampur feels right for us. We even have a small cat that visits the office every afternoon looking for crumbs.
