Inder Watch

Inder Watch is found at B 34, right near the M C D School in the Main Market of Khajuri Khas. Being so close to a school means there is always a lot of noise during the day, with kids shouting and bells ringing. The main market is usually a mess of bikes and carts, so getting to the shop can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We have a small glass front where we keep some of the watches we’ve fixed and are waiting for owners to collect. The workbench is right at the front so we can see what’s happening on the street while we work on the delicate movements. It gets very bright in the morning when the sun hits the shop, so we have to use a small curtain to keep the glare off the watch faces. We handle all sorts of repairs, from the cheap plastic watches children wear to the heavier metal ones the men around here use. Khajuri Khas is a place where everyone is busy, so they usually want things done as fast as possible. We don’t have any big signs or advertisements, just the name on the board and people find us by word of mouth. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if a neighbor needs something urgently. It’s just a basic shop doing basic work for the local community.
