This is our little spot in Shiv Vihar, North East Delhi. The address is quite long. It is House Number 33/25 in Phase 10, located in Karawal Nagar. We do food and drinks here. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around the streets. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. Most days we are busy preparing things in the back. We have some machines for the beverages and a kitchen area. It is not a very big space but we use every inch we have. The walls are painted a plain color and we have simple lights. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the day is finished. Being in Phase 10 means we see a lot of local traffic passing by. We do not do any advertising. People just find out about us from word of mouth or by walking past. Sometimes the power goes out in the summer and it gets really hot inside the building. We just open the doors and keep working. We handle the deliveries ourselves most of the time using a small scooter. It is a family-run thing. My cousin helps with the heavy lifting and the cleaning. We try to keep our prices fair so the local people keep coming back. There isn't anything fancy about how we work. We just show up every morning and get to it.
