Our office is tucked away in the B1/5A block of New East Janakpuri. It’s a very handy spot because the metro station is just a short walk away, which is how most of us get to work every morning. The building isn't anything special to look at, just another concrete block in a busy part of Delhi. Inside, we have rows of cubicles where everyone sits with their headsets on. It can get pretty noisy when everyone is talking at once, but you get used to the hum of voices. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but there isn't much to see except the metro tracks and some local shops. The carpet has some coffee stains from various accidents over the years. We spend most of our time on computers, writing code or fixing technical issues for people we never actually meet. The break room is just a small table with a microwave and a kettle. We usually bring our own lunches from home and talk about the latest movies or how bad the traffic was. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good group of people here who make the time go by faster. We aren't a massive corporate headquarters, just a branch doing our bit in the Janakpuri area. The AC works most of the time, but during the peak of summer, we all bring small desk fans to stay cool and stay focused.
