Our office is E/9 in the Bq Block of the Dda Market in Shalimar Bagh. We are right opposite the site by the City Center, which makes it easy to find if you’re familiar with the area. It’s a typical market office, a bit cramped and filled with stacks of paper and old hardware. The Dda Market is a busy place with people coming in for all sorts of things. We spend our time at our desks, usually looking at screens or taking apart tablets and phones. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, and we often see the same people walking their dogs or going to the shops. Shalimar Bagh is a good neighborhood, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the other shop owners. We have a small fridge for cold water and a corner where we keep the bags of parts. Sometimes the noise from the City Center construction across the way gets a bit loud, but we just turn up the radio. It’s a simple life, coming in every morning and seeing what needs to be done. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or big goals, just fixing what’s broken and making sure things work again. The commute can be a bit of a crawl in the evenings, but that's just Delhi life for you. We’re happy with our little spot here.
