Savi Engineers (P) Ltd. is located on the first floor of the Raghu Shree building at Ajmeri Gate. Number 62 is right in the thick of it. If you know Ajmeri Gate, you know it’s a place that never really stays quiet. Our office is a bit of an escape from the chaos outside, though you can still hear the horns honking all day. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. The stairs are narrow, and the walls have that old-office smell of paper and ink. We don’t have any fancy signs or neon lights. It’s just a plain door with our name on it. Inside, we have our desks pushed close together because the space isn't huge. We do engineering work, so there are always tools and components lying around on the shelves. We don't really have a dress code; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the technical specs. We don't have a big marketing plan. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our name on the door for years. It’s just an honest, working office where we try to stay on top of the engineering tasks we have for the week. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back.
