Rizvi Clinic

Rizvi Clinic is found at B 87 Shalimar Bagh Opposite Indra Park. Having the park right across the street is probably the best part about being at this address. You get to see the greenery and the people going for their morning walks while we are just starting the day. Shalimar Bagh is a nice enough place, though the traffic on the main roads can be a headache during rush hour. Our spot in B Block is usually a bit calmer. The building is a standard brick structure, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it’s sturdy. Inside, the floor is that old-fashioned stone that stays cool even when the Delhi summer is hitting hard outside. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait, and they aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. The clock on the wall ticks quite loudly when the room is empty, which happens during the mid-afternoon lull. We see a lot of people who are just heading into Indra Park or coming back from it. Sometimes stray dogs lounge near our doorstep because it’s a bit shaded there. We don't have a big flashing sign or anything like that, just the name on the door and the address B 87. It feels like a very settled part of the community where nothing much changes from one year to the next, and we like it that way.
