Ramakant

My name is Ramakant and I run my business out of Shalimar Bagh West, specifically at number 12. It’s a quiet corner of the neighborhood and I like it that way because it lets me focus on what I’m doing. The space is quite small, just enough for me and the things I need to work with. I’ve been here for a few years now after moving from a much noisier part of the city. The light in the afternoons is really good here, which makes the work a bit easier on my eyes. I don't have any big signs or advertisements outside, so you really have to be looking for number 12 to find me. Most of my visitors are people I’ve known for a long time or friends of friends. I keep a small kettle in the corner for making tea, and that’s about as fancy as it gets in here. The walls are a bit thin, so I can hear the neighbors going about their lives, but it doesn't bother me much. It feels more like a home than an office most of the time. I try to keep things tidy but usually, by Wednesday, there are piles of stuff everywhere. I don't think I’d want to be anywhere else right now. It is a simple setup that works for a one-man show like mine.
