Planet Chicken

Out here at Bara Hindu Rao Tyre Market 8075, things stay pretty loud all day long. It is not exactly what you would call a quiet or peaceful neighborhood. Planet Chicken is surrounded by shops selling heavy tires and all kinds of mechanical parts. It is a bit of a strange mix of businesses, but it seems to work out for us. The air around here always smells a bit like rubber and engine oil from the street. We have been at this location for a long time. The men who work in the tyre market come by when they are hungry after a long shift. It is a rough and tumble kind of area to be in. The shop itself is just a very simple setup. We do not have any fancy decorations or bright lights. There is usually a lot of dust because of all the heavy trucks and vehicles moving through Bara Hindu Rao. We spend a lot of our time just cleaning things up. You won’t find us in any glossy magazines or on the news. We are just a chicken shop in a market full of truck parts and grease. 8075 is just a number on a door to most people who pass by, but for us, it is where we spend all our waking hours. It gets incredibly hot in the summer and the winters are often gray. We just keep the stove going and the meat ready.
