Not Currently Employed

Being right across from Robin Cinema in Subzi Mandi means there is always something to look at. The address 2670 is in a part of Delhi that never really sleeps. Because there is Not Currently Employed activity happening here, there is plenty of time to take in the chaos of the market. The vegetable sellers start early and the noise doesn't really stop until late at night. It is a gritty, real place to be. We don't have a big staff or a fancy mission statement to show off to anyone who asks. It is just a person or two living their lives in 110007. The building is old and has that classic Delhi feel where everything is a bit cramped but familiar. You get to know the street vendors and the people who have been here for decades. Not having a workplace to go to means you become a bit of a fixture on the street yourself. You watch the movies change at the cinema and see the crowds come and go. It is a very grounded existence. No one is trying to impress anyone here with a polished image. We are just here, living opposite the cinema and handling whatever the day brings. It is simple and sometimes a bit loud, but it is home for now while things are on a break. There is no corporate polish to be found at this address at all.
