You can find us at A-77/2 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Like most places around here, we deal with metalware. It’s a business that requires a lot of heavy lifting and a lot of patience. We started Nitish Metaware because there was a need for reliable stainless steel items in the local market. The factory floor is always busy. You can hear the thud of the presses and the hiss of the polishing machines from down the street. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we know how to do. I usually spend my time between the tiny office and the production line. We’ve got a team of workers who have been with us for a long time, and we’re more like a family than a corporate office. We eat lunch together on the terrace when the weather is nice. Wazirpur is a crowded place, and sometimes getting raw materials delivered is a real pain because of the narrow lanes. But we’ve figured out the shortcuts over the years. We don't do much in terms of marketing or social media. We just focus on making sure the metal is polished right and the edges aren't sharp. If we do a good job, the buyers come back, and that’s really all we need to stay afloat. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we keep at it every single day.
