We’ve got our little space over at C-205 in Gandhi Vihar. It’s on the ground floor, which is nice because we don't have to climb any stairs with heavy boxes. Gandhi Vihar is always crowded, mostly because of all the students and people living in the area, so there is always noise outside our window. Our work is mostly about keeping people connected. We handle a lot of the technical side of internet and networking things in this part of Delhi. The office isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. Sometimes it feels like we are tripping over cables or stacks of routers. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception desk. It’s just a place where we sit down and get to work. Most of us have lived in the city for a long time, so we’re used to the heat and the dust. We take our lunch breaks together, usually getting something from the local stalls nearby. The food around here is actually pretty good. We don’t really do big meetings or have a corporate culture. We just talk to each other and figure out what needs to be fixed. It's a very hands-on job. If a customer has a problem, one of us just goes over and checks it out. We like the fact that we can just be ourselves and help people out without all the extra fuss. It’s honest work for us.
