Naresh Kumar

Naresh Kumar runs things from H.No C/17 in Badli. We are right near the railway crossing at Phatak No. 8. If you have ever been here, you know the sound of the trains. They go by pretty often and the whole place vibrates a little bit every time. It’s part of the rhythm of our day now. We are tucked into Gali No. 1, which is a narrow little street. It can be hard to bring a car in here, so most of us just walk or use a cycle. The office is just a couple of rooms that stay pretty cool because of the way the building is tucked in. Naresh is a practical guy who doesn't like wasting time on long speeches. We just show up, see what needs to be done, and do it. There is a lot of dust from the nearby tracks, so we spend a bit of time cleaning the desks every morning. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We have some old wooden tables and chairs that have been with us since the start. People from the neighborhood drop by sometimes just to say hello. It is a very local Delhi vibe, loud and busy but everyone knows each other. We don't try to pretend we are some big corporation. We are just a small business trying to get through the week without too much trouble from the heat.
