Mehra Cosmetics

Mehra Cosmetics is out in the Bawana Industrial Area, at H-206 in Sector 2. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the work happens. The Dsidc area is always full of trucks and workers. We have a functional unit where we handle the cosmetic side of things. It is not a glamorous beauty salon; it is a place where things get made and packed. There’s a lot of machinery noise and the smell of different ingredients in the air. We’ve got a small team on the floor and a couple of people in the office handling the orders. It gets very dusty out here, so we are always cleaning. We don't have a big sign out front, just the unit number mostly. We focus on getting the batches right. It takes a lot of patience to keep everything consistent. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life in an industrial zone. We’ve been in Sector 2 for a long time now. We know the routines of the area. It’s a lot of hard work, especially in the heat of summer. We just put our heads down and get the boxes filled. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to make sure the products are ready to go out.
