Mac Geo Structural Consultants is located on the 3rd floor of Mukund House, right in the Azadpur commercial complex. It’s a busy building with a lot of other businesses around. Being on Plot No. 302 means we get a fair bit of foot traffic, though most people come to see us for specific project meetings. We focus on the structural side of things, making sure the math works for whatever is being built. The office is usually filled with the sound of computers running and people talking over plans. We don't have fancy furniture or a lot of decorations. It’s mostly just shelves full of old project files and desks for the staff. Azadpur is a central spot, which makes it easier for us to get out to different sites across the city. Sometimes we're out in the field more than we're in the office. We deal with soil reports and foundation designs quite a bit. It’s not always the cleanest job, especially when you're inspecting a muddy construction site. We just try to provide clear information to the people we work with. There’s no polished sales pitch here. We just show the work we've done and let that speak for itself. Most days it’s just about solving one little problem after another until the job is finished. We’ve been doing this for a while and have a rhythm that works for us, even if the office gets a bit messy sometimes.
