Our base is on Jamuna Road in the Civil Lines area of Delhi, at number 6. Civil Lines has a bit of an old-world feel to it, and our office fits right into that atmosphere. We operate as Lea Associates South Asia Pvt Ltd from this location, and it is a place with a lot of character. The buildings around here have some history, and it is a lot greener than most other parts of Delhi. We spend our workdays dealing with various consultancy projects, which involves a lot of reading and technical writing. The office inside is pretty straightforward with old wooden desks and plenty of cupboards for all our archives. It is not the kind of place where you will find fancy coffee machines or lounge areas. We just have a kettle for tea and a small space to eat our lunch. The walk from the metro station is nice when the weather is cool, though the summers are tough like everywhere else in the city. We have a small group here and we have been working together for years, so everyone knows the routine. There is a lot of focus on the details of the projects we are handling. We don't do much in the way of advertising ourselves; we just let the work we do speak for itself.
