Our workplace is at Aa-159 in Shalimar Bagh. It is a decent spot in a mostly residential neighborhood, so it does not feel too much like a stressful business district. We have been operating this media lab for a while now. The office is basically just a workspace where we handle video projects and digital design. It is usually quite cluttered with hard drives and different pieces of equipment. We do not spend a lot of time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It is more about having a place where we can sit down and get the editing done. The team is small and we have all known each other for a long time, so there is no need for formal meetings or big speeches. We just talk across the room when something needs to be fixed. There is a park nearby where we sometimes go for a quick walk if our eyes start hurting from the screens. Shalimar Bagh has a lot of good food spots, so we never go hungry during our breaks. We are not interested in the corporate world or having a fancy title. We are just people who like working with media and making things look right on a screen. It is a straightforward life here, and we like the routine of coming in and seeing familiar faces every day while we work on our projects.
