K C Mittal & Co

Located at 804 Kashmere Gate in Chhota Bazar, our office is right in the heart of one of Delhi's oldest trading hubs. K C Mittal & Co has been around this area for quite some time, and we’ve seen the streets change over the years, even if the general chaos stays the same. The building at 804 is an old-style structure, nothing like the modern glass towers you see in the new parts of the city. It has thick walls and narrow stairs, which can be a bit of a climb if you’re not used to it. Chhota Bazar is always buzzing with activity from early morning until late at night. There’s the constant sound of rickshaw bells, people haggling, and the general roar of the city. Inside our office, things are a bit quieter, but not by much. We have stacks of files and old ledgers, and the desks are usually covered in papers. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on getting the day's tasks finished. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that; people usually find us because they know where we are or someone told them. It’s a lot of hard work in a crowded space, but there’s a sense of history here that you don’t get anywhere else. We just open up the shutters, do our work, and try to stay organized amidst all the bazaar madness outside our front door. It’s just our daily life in the middle of old Delhi.
