I do my work out of House No 973/1, which is known as Kaushik Bhawan. It is in Ashok Vihar, specifically in Sector-5. It is just a plain building where we have our computers and desks set up. We do a lot of technical things here, so mostly you just hear the sound of people typing on their keyboards. The chairs we have are not the most comfortable ones, but they work well enough for a full day. We are Ibm Ltd and we have been in this part of Gurgaon for quite some time now. Sector-5 is a busy place with a lot of noise coming in from the traffic on the main road. We have a small area in the back where we can make some tea or coffee. The kettle we use is a bit old and takes a while to boil. We spend most of the day looking at screens and trying to figure out how to fix different system issues. It is not very exciting to look at if you are just passing by. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we can get back to work. We don't have any fancy art on the walls, just some calendars and a few lists of things to do. We know the neighbors around Kaushik Bhawan pretty well by now. It is a steady routine of coming in and doing the technical work.
