Decibel

Our place, Decibel, is located at AP 41 in the CSC area of Shalimar Bagh near Pitampura. We deal with a lot of different electronic gadgets, especially things related to sound and mobile communication. It is a small shop but we keep it full of interesting things. We don't have any fancy displays. Everything is just laid out on the counters or hung on the walls. Most of the day is spent testing speakers or fixing phone jacks that have stopped working. It can get a bit loud in here when we are checking a new set of headphones for a customer. The local residents know us as the place to go when they want something reliable without a lot of fuss. We aren't part of some big corporation. It is just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. We keep our hours pretty regular, but sometimes we stay late if a repair is particularly tricky. The neighborhood is usually busy, so there is always someone walking in with a question or a device that needs looking at. We try to be practical about what can be fixed and what is better off being replaced. It is an honest living. We don't use scripts or prepared speeches. We just talk to people like neighbors and do our best with the tools we have in the back.
