Our Rohini office is tucked away at G 26 78 in Sector 3. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood, so it’s never really quiet outside. You can hear the rickshaws and people talking all day long. The office is small but it works for us. We have a few desks squeezed in and a lot of filing cabinets that seem to be multiplying. Most of us who work here live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to people going all the way to Gurgaon or Noida. We’ve got a routine down. Someone usually brings in snacks around 4 PM, and we take ten minutes to just talk about stuff that isn't work. The furniture is a bit older, maybe from when we first moved in, but it’s sturdy. Hewitt Associates has been in this part of Delhi for a while now. It’s not a shiny glass building, but it has everything we need to handle the daily tasks. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the summer, and we just sit by the window for air until the backup kicks in. It’s a very practical place. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look perfect for visitors because we’re mostly busy with the actual work. It’s honest work, and we like the people we work with, which makes the long days go by a lot faster than you’d think. We just keep at it and get through the pile.
