Freelancer

My workspace is located at 302 Sunehri Bagh Apartments in Sector 13, Rohini. I’ve been based here in Delhi for a few years now, running my freelance business out of this flat. It’s a pretty standard apartment, and I’ve converted the extra bedroom into an office of sorts. It’s filled with my gear—computers, some hard drives, and way too many notebooks. I don’t have any employees or a big corporate structure. It’s just me, sitting at my desk and getting things done. Rohini is a decent place to be; it’s got everything you need close by, and it’s not as chaotic as some other parts of the city. I usually spend my mornings drinking coffee and going through my emails before diving into the actual tasks. Some days the work is easy and flows well, while other days I’m stuck staring at the wall trying to solve a problem. That’s just how it goes when you’re working for yourself. I don’t have any big marketing slogans or fancy missions. I just try to do the work I’m given and keep my clients happy enough to come back. It’s a very personal way of working. I like the fact that I can take a break whenever I want, even if I usually end up working longer hours than I would in a regular office. It’s a simple life, and it works for me without any of the extra drama.
