Fidelis Legal Services

Our office is tucked away over on Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines. If you know Delhi, you know this area has a lot of history and old trees. Fidelis Legal Services is basically a group of us working through piles of paperwork and files every day. It gets pretty hectic around here, especially when deadlines are looming and the phones won't stop ringing. We have a lot of shelves filled with law books that probably haven't been moved in years, but they look right in a place like this. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just helping people navigate the system which, as everyone knows, can be a real headache. There is always someone coming in with a folder full of documents they don't quite understand. We sit down, have some tea, and try to sort it out. The building itself is an older one, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the air conditioning struggles sometimes when it gets really hot in June. We aren't a big corporate firm with a glass building. It is just a practical space where we get the job done. Sometimes we stay late into the evening just to finish up a filing for the next morning. It is honest work, and we like the neighborhood. Most of the local shops know us by now since we are always out grabbing a quick lunch or some stationary for the printer. It is a bit of a walk to the metro, but we don't mind the exercise.
