Essence Interiors

Essence Interiors is located at A 18, a single-story building in Vijay Nagar. We are quite close to the NDPL office, so it’s easy for people to find us. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we are always carrying in samples of tiles, wood, and heavy fabric rolls. The office is often a bit of a mess with color swatches and catalogs scattered around. We don't have a fancy showroom with perfect lighting. Instead, we have a workspace where we figure out how to make a room look better and work better for the people living there. Most of our time is spent talking to vendors or visiting sites to see how the work is progressing. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the carpenters understand the drawings. We’ve been in Vijay Nagar for a good while now and know the local market well. We aren't interested in using a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just help people choose things for their homes. It’s a job that involves a lot of listening and a fair amount of measuring. Sometimes we get things wrong and have to fix them, but that’s just part of the process. We are just a small team of people who like working with our hands and seeing a project come together from start to finish. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in Delhi. We usually have the radio playing in the background.
