Ernst Young

If you know Sector 13 in Rohini, then you know the Delhi Citizen Apartments. That is where we are, at E 11. It is a bit different working out of an apartment complex compared to a big commercial tower downtown. Ernst Young has a setup here that feels more like a home office in some ways. We have the usual stuff like computers and printers, but the vibe is much quieter because of the residential surroundings. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like kids playing or people moving around outside, which is actually quite nice compared to just hearing traffic all day. We start around the usual time and keep at it until the evening rolls around. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if you are doing multiple trips during the day, but it keeps us moving. Rohini is a big area, so most of us live nearby or take the bus to get in. We don’t really have a big reception area or anything flashy to show off. It is just a few rooms where the actual work happens. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp, especially when it is tax season or when there is a lot of filing to do. Most of our neighbors know us as the office folks. It is a simple life here. We just try to stay on top of our emails and keep the records straight. There is a small park nearby where some of us walk.
