We are located over at 1561/30 in Naiwalan, which is a pretty busy part of Karol Bagh if you know the area. Our office is on the second floor. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we handle our advisory work every day. Usually, the morning starts with someone unlocking the main gate downstairs and then the climb up the stairs. It gets a bit hot in the summer months because of how the building is positioned, but we have some fans and a small AC unit that keeps us going. Most of us have been working here for a while now. We know the local tea stall guy quite well since he brings us chai at least twice a day. The streets outside in Naiwalan are always full of people and vehicles, so there is constant noise coming through the windows. It’s just the way things are around here. We spend most of our time looking at papers or talking to people who drop by for advice. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait a bit to get back to work. It’s a standard office life. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It is just a practical space where we can get through our tasks. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and the streetlights outside finally stop flickering. It’s just us, Dugain Advisors Llp, trying to do our jobs in this little corner of North Delhi.
