Our place is at 1304, Nai Bast in Tilak Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Old Delhi, you know exactly what the vibe is like. It’s crowded, it’s loud, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Intelenet Global Services operates out of this spot, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes. The lanes are narrow, so getting here in the morning is always an adventure with the rickshaws and carts. We have a lot of computers and desks crammed in, and the sound of typing and people talking on phones is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in Gurgaon. This is a real, gritty part of Delhi. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital stuff, but the atmosphere is very local. You can hear the vendors calling out in the bazar while you’re trying to focus on a spreadsheet. Lunch breaks are usually spent grabbing something quick from a nearby stall because the food around here is actually great. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s home for us. We’ve got a small crew and we just get the work done. It’s a bit messy and fast-paced, but that is just life in Tilak Bazar. We don’t put on any acts here. It’s just us working hard in the middle of all that history.
