Our center is located at Al-148 in the Al Market area of Shalimar Bagh. We are right near the Al Block DDA Market, so there is always a lot of activity around us. We have a modest setup with several computers where we teach people how to use different software and basic computer skills. It is not a high-tech campus, just a local room where people come to learn. We have students of all ages. Some are young kids who want to learn how to type, and others are adults who need to learn how to use the internet for their jobs. We spend our day explaining things and helping people when they get stuck on a particular program. The keyboards are a bit worn down from all the use, and the chairs are just regular office chairs. We have been in Shalimar Bagh for a long time and we like the community here. The market outside can be very loud with vendors calling out, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do not have any big promises or fancy ads. We just offer a place for people to sit down and gain some practical knowledge. It is a quiet, steady kind of work that we find quite satisfying. We open up early in the morning and stay until the last student finishes their practice session in the evening.
