Our location for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is in Nehru Vihar, near Timarpur, specifically at E 17 18. The pincode here is 110054. This area has its own rhythm, and being near Timarpur means there is always a lot of movement nearby. The office itself is tucked away and isn't a place for the general public to buy tickets or board trains. Instead, it’s where we handle some of the technical and logistical work. The rooms are filled with maps, clipboards, and old folders. It’s a bit of an older building, so it has its quirks, like the occasional flickering light or a door that squeaks when you open it. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look pretty. We are mostly focused on the tasks at hand, which involve a lot of checking and re-checking data. You’ll see staff members walking around with tea or carrying stacks of documents from one room to another. It’s a very practical environment. Being at E 17 18 means we are close to the heart of things but far enough away from the noise of the main station platforms. We like the neighborhood because it feels lived-in and real. Our days are spent making sure things are lined up correctly for the metro system. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Nehru Vihar every single day. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
