Darvesh Emporium

Darvesh Emporium is located at 335/336 along N H 8. We are right in the Rangpuri area of Mahipal Pur. If you know the highway, you know it’s always moving. The sound of trucks and cars is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. It never really stops. Being in Mahipal Pur means we are close to the airport and all the hotels, so there are always different people around. Our space is 335 and 336 combined, so we have a bit of room to move. It’s an emporium, so we have plenty of things on display. The dust from the highway is a constant battle, but we keep everything as clean as we can. The light comes in strong from the front during the day. We spend our hours talking to travelers and locals alike. Darvesh Emporium has a lot of history in this spot. We aren't a polished corporate showroom. We are a real place with real people working behind the counter. We have tea together in the afternoons and watch the traffic crawl by on N H 8. It’s a busy life, but it’s ours. We don't use fancy sales pitches. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The shop is filled with all sorts of items, and every corner has something different. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is.
