Civils India

Civils India is right in the middle of Dr Mukerjee Nagar. If you know anything about this part of Delhi, you know it is the heart of the exam preparation scene. The streets are always crowded with people looking for books or finding a place to grab a quick snack between study sessions. Our space here is pretty straightforward. We have some desks, plenty of lights, and more paper than anyone knows what to do with. It is a loud neighborhood, with bikes zooming past and people shouting, but inside we try to keep things focused. We have been here for a while and have seen the area change, but the goal of the students remains the same. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist in a suit. It is more of a place where you come to put in the hard hours. We spend a lot of time updating our materials because things change so fast in the civil services world. Sometimes it feels like we are living in a library. The tea stalls nearby are where most of the actual socializing happens. We just provide the space and the materials for people to get their work done. It is a bit cramped and sometimes the electricity acts up, but that is just part of living and working in Mukerjee Nagar. We just keep at it day after day, trying to help everyone get through their huge stacks of notes.
