British Telecom

British Telecom has a presence here in New Delhi at H No 887, Type 3 in the Delhi Admin Flats of Gulabi Bagh. This location is a bit different because it’s tucked into the administration flats area, which gives it a more community feel. We handle a lot of the technical and back-end stuff for the telecom services from this spot. It’s not a retail shop where you’d come to buy a phone, but more of a workspace where our staff handles the networks and support side of things. We spend a lot of time on systems, making sure connections are working as they should be. The office is set up simply with the gear we need to monitor the lines and keep the data moving. Gulabi Bagh is a settled area, so it’s a fairly predictable place to work from day to day. We have our routines, starting early to check on any issues that popped up overnight. The people working here are mostly engineers or support staff who know the ins and outs of the British Telecom systems. We don't have big signs or anything flashy outside since we are mostly focused on the work inside the flats. It’s a quiet, steady environment where we just get on with the job of keeping the communication lines open. We like it here because it is calm and lets us focus on the technical details without too many interruptions.
