We are based in Ashok Vihar Phase I, specifically at A 21. Delhi is a huge city, but this part of North Delhi feels a bit more like a real community. We’ve been running things as Bechtel India Pvt Ltd from here for a while. The office is tucked away in a spot that’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the house number. It's a standard building, nothing that would stand out on a postcard or a fancy brochure. Inside, it’s just us working through our daily lists. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. Usually, whoever is sitting closest to the door just answers it. The air conditioning is a bit loud when it's running, but it’s a lifesaver in the middle of June. We try to keep things simple. There isn't a lot of fuss about titles or formalities in this office. We just come in, do what needs doing, and head home to our families in the evening. Sometimes we talk about the local cricket scores or the price of vegetables during our lunch break. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just work. The neighborhood has some nice parks nearby, which is good for a quick walk when the weather allows. It feels like a very normal way to spend a workday. No frills, just a solid place.
