We are located at Flat No 3 on the second floor in Malka Ganj, Delhi. This is an older part of the city, so the streets are narrow and full of life. It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor, but it’s a good way to start the morning. The office for Bank Of America here is not very large, but we make the best use of the space we have. We have desks lined up against the walls and a few cabinets for all the files we have to keep track of. Malka Ganj is a busy place, especially with the university nearby, so there are always students and vendors moving about outside. We can hear the street noise through the windows, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our work is mostly focused on the local needs and keeping things organized. It’s a simple routine: we arrive, check the messages, and start on the pile of papers on the desks. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small stove to make tea for the staff. The lighting is just standard bulbs, and we have a few fans to keep the air moving during the humid months. It’s a very basic setup, but it works for what we need to do. Most of the people around here are regulars, so we see the same faces every day. It feels more like a community than a business district. We just keep our heads down and work.
