Awnishkumar’s place is on the second floor of a building in B 6, New Delhi. The pin code here is 110033. It’s a typical Delhi setup where you have to climb a narrow set of stairs to reach us. Once you get to the second floor, it’s just a plain door that leads into our workspace. We have a few desks pushed against the walls and some shelves filled with various things we've collected over the years. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful not to trip over the wires or the stacks of paper on the floor. We spend most of our hours here, typing away or talking on the phone with clients and suppliers. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we have a decent cooler that helps a bit. The view from the window is just more buildings and the street below, which is always humming with activity. We don't have a lot of time for decorating, so the walls are mostly bare. Awnish is usually buried under a pile of work, but he always has time for a quick chat if someone stops by. It’s a very practical environment. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy furniture or expensive machines. We just use what works and keep moving forward.
