Auto & Construction Equipment Corporation is located at 1518-A in the Kashmere Gate area. If you know Delhi at all, you know this part of town is basically the heart of the spare parts market. It is loud, crowded, and there is almost always a truck blocking the narrow lane right when you are in a hurry. Our shop is packed with heavy parts and equipment meant for construction sites. We have rows of metal shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with stuff most people would not even recognize. It is a bit of a maze in here. Most of the time, we are dealing with mechanics or site managers who need a very specific part to get their machines running again. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or making things look pretty. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody here really cares about that. We just focus on finding the right gear or piston for the customer. The air is always a bit dusty from all the boxes being moved around. Lunch is usually eaten right at the main desk because someone always walks in with a broken part just as you are opening your tiffin. It is a fast-paced environment, but we have gotten used to the noise of the market over the years. It is a hard-working place, and that is just how we keep it going every single day.
