Batra Machinery Stores

Located right on National Highway 1, over here at Shraddhanand Marg. Usually, it's pretty noisy with the trucks going by all day. We’ve got the shop set up at number 73. It’s been our spot for a good while now. Most days are just spent moving parts around or looking through catalogs to find what someone needs for their workshop. The shelves are mostly full of different machinery pieces and tools that people around here use. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, but that is just how it is. Sometimes people stop by because they saw the sign while driving past, and others have been coming here for years. We aren't really fancy about how we arrange things. If you walk in, you'll see boxes and heavy items sitting on the floor. It takes a bit of work to keep track of everything, but we manage. My hands are usually a bit greasy by noon. It's just honest work. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down mostly. The tea stall nearby is where we usually grab a quick break. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just keep the inventory stocked and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the weather makes the highway traffic slow down, which makes the shop quiet, but usually, there's a lot going on outside. We just stay busy with the machines and the paperwork.
