Ashtopus Technologies

Our place, Ashtopus Technologies, is over at Kashmere Gate on Madarsa Road. We are on the first floor of Plot No.1590. If you find the Oberoi Glass House, we are right behind it. It’s an old part of town, so the roads are narrow and sometimes the drains get blocked when it rains. The building is older too, but it has some character I suppose. We do a lot of tech work here, mostly sitting at our benches with tools and wires everywhere. It’s not the cleanest office you’ll ever see. There are usually parts lying around and some half-finished projects on the tables. We don’t have a big receptionist or a waiting room. People just walk up the stairs and find us. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the old fans running full speed. The area is always buzzing with people selling things and trucks trying to unload. It’s a bit chaotic but we like being here. It feels honest. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just fix what is broken and try to keep up with the work. Sometimes we go out for lunch at the small dhabas nearby. The food is better than what you’d get in a mall. It’s just us, a few computers, and a lot of work to finish before the day ends. That's life at Kashmere Gate for us.
