Aress International

We are based at 1081, Somani Bhawan, which is on Raja Ugarsen Street. It is right in the heart of Lata Ram Bazar. If you know the area, you know how tight the streets are and how many people are always moving around. Aress International has been here for years, operating out of this old building. Somani Bhawan has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We deal with international trade, so we are often looking at shipping schedules and talking to people in different time zones. The bazar outside is always noisy with carts and people shouting, but inside our office, it is a bit more focused. We have stacks of papers and ledgers everywhere. It is the kind of place where you have to know exactly which pile a document is in. We don't really have a lobby or a reception desk. You just walk in and we are there working. Sometimes the fans are the only thing you can hear when the market quietens down for a bit. It is a traditional way of doing business in a very traditional part of the city. We just keep our heads down and make sure our clients get what they need on time. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
