Amg India is on the 1st Floor at 1787 in Bhagirath Palace. Just like everything else in Chandni Chowk, it’s a bit of a climb up the stairs. The building is old and has that character you only find in this part of Delhi. Being on the first floor is actually quite nice because we’re slightly above the main street noise, though you can still hear the shouting and the horns all day long. The office isn't very big. We have our files, some chairs, and our work areas. It’s a practical setup for Amg India. We spend most of our hours here looking at papers and talking on the phone. Sometimes the hallways get crowded with deliveries going to other units. It’s a busy ecosystem in Bhagirath Palace. We don't have any polished marble or big corporate logos on the walls. It’s just a place where work happens. The windows don’t let in a ton of light because of the narrow alleys, so we rely on the overhead tubes to keep things bright. We know the other people on our floor and usually say hello in the mornings. It’s a very local way of doing business. You have to be okay with a bit of a mess and a lot of movement to work here. We’ve grown used to it over the years. It’s just the reality of being in the heart of the market at 1787.
