Ambika Products

Our setup is at number 90 in Kalyan Vihar. It’s a bit quieter than the big industrial hubs, which we actually prefer. At Ambika Products, we focus on making various items that people use in their daily lives. We’ve kept the business fairly small because it’s easier to manage that way. The workspace is part of the building where we’ve been for years. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There’s always a tea kettle going somewhere and someone chatting near the door. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. Most of what we do involves old-fashioned hard work and knowing how the materials behave. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big shipment going out, and the narrow lanes of Kalyan Vihar don't help much with the trucks. But we manage. We aren't interested in being some giant corporation. We like knowing the names of our suppliers and the people who buy our stuff. Some of our machines are old, but they are reliable and we know how to fix them ourselves. Every day is pretty much the same: we show up, check the orders, and start the machines. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just try to stay consistent and keep things moving along without too much fuss. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
