Alfa Mens Saloon

You can find us over at Shalimar Bagh West, specifically located at Bb 88/A. It is a typical neighborhood men’s saloon where we try to keep everything very straightforward for our customers. The shop always has that classic smell of shaving cream, hair tonic, and talcum powder. We have a couple of chairs lined up against the big mirror, and there is usually someone sitting in at least one of them getting a shave or a quick haircut. It is not a big, modern place with glass walls and music; it is more of a cozy, local spot where everyone feels comfortable. We spend our time managing the daily appointments and making sure all the towels are clean and ready to go. The radio is usually playing some old songs quietly, and there is always a newspaper or a magazine lying around for people to read while they wait. We do not really go for any of those strange trendy styles that you see in the fashion magazines; we just do exactly what the customers ask us for. The lighting is bright enough for us to see what we are doing with the scissors, but it isn't harsh on the eyes. Most of our regulars live just a few streets away, so there is always a lot of talking about local news and family things. The sink is often full of soapy water, and we keep our combs in jars of blue disinfectant on the shelf. It is a simple, honest business where people come to relax.
