Abhinandan

Abhinandan is located at 1441, New Madhupura, right by Delhi Gate. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how crowded it gets. The streets are narrow and there are people everywhere at all hours. Our building is one of many in this old market area. It’s got a lot of character, but it can be a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We’ve been here for a long time. My father used to work in this same area, and we just kept it going. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are. The mornings are usually the busiest when the deliveries arrive. We have to be quick to get everything inside before the traffic blocks the road entirely. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic, but we’re used to it. We don't do anything fancy, just trade and sell what’s in the shop. It’s an honest way to make a living. You meet all sorts of people at Delhi Gate. Some days are slow, but mostly we are kept on our feet. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a bit dusty and the noise never stops, but this is where we belong and we know the neighbors well.
