New Ghosh Studio

New Ghosh Studio has been part of Boyra Bagdah for a good while now. We handle a lot of different things, mostly passport photos and pictures for weddings or local festivals. The shop isn't very large. We have the backdrop area in the back and a small counter up front where people come to collect their prints. It gets quite crowded during the wedding season. You’ll see families coming in all dressed up, trying to get everyone to stand still for a group shot. It can be a bit chaotic. We still use some of the older equipment alongside the new digital stuff because it still works fine. The lighting in the studio is something we’re always messing with to get it right. Sometimes the printer jams right when we’re in a hurry, which is always frustrating. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. That’s the nice thing about being in a place like Boyra. We aren't trying to be some high-end fashion studio. We just want to make sure the photos look clear and people are happy with how they turned out. Sometimes we do some editing on the computer if someone asks, but mostly we just take the shots and print them out. It’s a simple business. We open up early and stay until the last customer leaves. It’s just how we run things here in the studio every day.
